Fun stuff

Here are some random pictures that we took over the past few weeks. My favorite are the ones of Mason wearing his goggles (or gockles as he calls them) and chewing on his binky. The binky is especially funny because he hasn't sucked on a binky since he was 6 months old. The little booger decided he liked to cry hysterically 24-7 rather than let something like a binky soothe him. Grrr. Oh well, that's over now. The other ones I love are the ones where he's sitting on my lap watching me play Mario Kart. He's going to be just like Wynn and I. Obsessed with Nintendo. Also, there are 2 pictures of his 2nd haircut. We didn't get pictures of the first one, so we took pictures of the second. He didn't do so well this time. He practically bit off the stylist's scissors. That's my boy!

Mason in circles

There is a video at the bottom of this blog that Wynn and I took a few days ago of Mason just being Mason. He likes to turn in circles while looking at the ceiling... Don't ask because I couldn't tell you why. All I know is that it's hilarious and I love it :) There are also some pictures of this weekend. My brother Steven came in town to hang out with us for a few days. We had tons of fun. These pictures are from today right before I dropped him off at the airport. We went to the Gateway in Salt Lake and let Mason play around in the splash pad (otherwise known as the "Wiggalay Sprickaler") I wish I didn't live so far from my family because I just love them so much!

Memories with Dawnie

1. Leave one memory that you and I had together, as a comment on my blog. Anything goes.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll check to see if you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

New bangs and creative summer fun

Well, there was a picture on one of my last blogs that I got a few comments on, and yes, the rumors are true, I got bangs!!! Wynn really likes them, and that's my favorite part about them. Other than that, I love them too. I love getting to feel like a totally different person with just a few snips of some scissors! The pictures aren't that great but they are all I have for now. It's not often that I get pictures of myself since I'm usually the one taking the pictures. I will try to get some new pictures though.

Also, Mason and I have been forced to get creative with our summer activities due to lack of funds and a lack of a back yard. Soooo, we have found that a fun acitivity for us is to get all sun screened up and fill up our $5 blow up pool (gotta love Wal-Mart!) in our driveway (so white trash I know!) and splash around! Also, I got this other thing from Wal-Mart that we like to call the "Wiggly sprinkler". However, Mason has dubbed it "wiggalay sprickaler". It's pretty cute. Actually, now he thinks anything to do with water is called wiggalay sprickaler. It was raining the other day and he started saying it. It was awesome. He more than triples his vocabulary every week or so now. We are so happy to have our little boy talking to us.

Also, (last one I promise) the first few pictures are of Mason watching Cars (his favorite thing in the entire world). He watches it about 2 times every day. I'm trying to cut down, but it's just so easy to get stuff done when he's glued to that movie. Guilty mom walking. There is a picture of him outside doing his evil face too. It's funny.

Ode to Emma

So I was in Arizona awhile ago and got some amazing pictures of Emma (the one with the stuffed bunny was from a long time ago but the rest are more recent) and I had to make a blog just about her. She has one of the most angelic faces (and sweet little personalities) that I have ever seen. This girl makes my heart melt. When I found out Nancy couldn't bring her to Utah for her and Kaylee's visit, I was so sad. Sure the trip was easier much less stressful for everyone only because there were less little children to look after, but I would have had a more stressful visit in a heartbeat if it meant getting to be around her. I realize a lot of these pictures are almost the same but I couldn't leave any out because she is so gorgeous in each and every one. I love her so much!

Kaylee and Nancys' visit

Well, I was the luckiest aunt in the whole world recently. Nancy brought Kaylee up to Utah to be with me for awhile. After a few days, Nancy came back and spent a few days with us. I was in Kaylee and Nancy heaven. Anyone who knows me well knows that Nancy and Kaylee are two of my most favorite people on this Earth. I was so grateful to finally get some time with them up here. Kaylee loved playing with Mason (and he is still asking for her even though she's been gone now for 5 days) and we had non-stop fun from the time they got here to the time they left. I'm still running on the natural high you get from having a blast with your sister and her amazingly adorable daughter. We played in the "wiggalay sprickler" (as Mason calls it) a lot and they took lots of bubble baths together. Super fun.
