Wyoming trip and bath time!

Here are some pictures of our weekend in Wyoming and some pictures of Mason in the bath with his goggles on. At first we thought the whole kicking in the bath was funny, but after realizing we had a major clean up every time we bathed him, we have since told him no. I feel bad since we let him do it the first time, but I guess you do what you have to do sometimes. We are having some real struggles disciplining him. He is a very, well, intense child. So we have been giving him time outs (which he doesn't like) but those have not really been working. We are at a loss as to what to do. We don't want to spank him but want something that works. If anyone has any suggestions, either call me, leave a comment, or email me. I'm serious about this. We really don't know what to do. That being said, we love him so much and I'm always sure right after giving him a time out to hold him and tell him how much I love him. I have never loved a person so much in my life, but I never dreamed the person I loved that intensely would drive me more nuts than anyone ever has :) Parenting is one of those things that always keeps you on your toes. The minute you think you've got it figured out, it tries to stick its hand in its poopy diaper while you're changing it! Grrrrrr. It is obviously worth it (have you seen his cute face???!!!) but such hard work. Sorry for the long babbling. Thanks for any who made it this far ;)

Super Splashy Bath!

Sooooo, we had quite the eventful week/weekend. Andrea came in town and we hung out with Brooke. It was a mini-V3 reunion. So fun. Vanessa and Haylee were so cute and almost made me wish that Mason was a girl (not really, but you get how cute they were). Then, Wynn and I headed up to Star Valley Wyoming to see his parents for the weekend. First of all, I seriously have the sweetest in-laws. They're the kind of people you meet and wonder "are they really this great? I mean, is it possible for people to be that perfect?" But they are just the best people and they give me hope for humanity. Anyways, Mason had an awesome time. He ran lots outside ( or "awshigh") and played on their playground and swung on the swings. We ate lots of good food (Wynn's mom is a great cook) and probably gained a good 5 pounds in the 2 days we were there. Then we drove home today and gave Mason a bath before bed. Well, long long story (sorry) this is the video of part of his bath. He had goggles on at one point but I will post those pictures later when I have more time. In the mean time, enjoy. Also, Wynn wanted me to make sure that I put somewhere in this blog that we always make sure to be with him every second he is in the bath. So in case any of you were worried (since his head is in the water), we watch him very very closely.

Nap Time with my "Bok"

I had to wake Mason up today from his nap because it was nearing 6 o clock, and all you moms out there know that when a kid sleeps that late for their nap, they aren't going to bed until very late. Sooo, I found him in his crib like this. He loves his "Bok" so much he usually sleeps with his whole head under it. Let me tell you, this "Bok" thing (otherwise known as a blankie to us adults and normal children) has become an obsession. He wants it when he is sleeping, being changed, getting dressed, in the car, eating, in a shopping cart, in his stroller, etc.. you get the point. It's super cute, it just makes cleaning it difficult since he has it by his side at all time and freaks when it's gone for longer than a second :) I'm not going to lie, I love that he is attached to his Bok. (I capitalize it because it is that big of a deal) So cute. Sigh... Anyways, he woke up as I was taking his picture so the last two pictures are a very sleepy, very cute Mas-o.
