This was our first stop on the cruise. It was Puerto Vallarta and for anyone who has been there, they know that it is literally a jungle. It is the most beautiful landscape I've ever seen in person. We took a van to the set of the movie Predator and at chips and salsa and guacamole right next to these natural fresh water pools. There was a natural rock slide and a rope swing. I got some awesome pictures of everyone going down the rock slide and swinging on the rope swing. I will post a video later of my little brother Alex doing a wicked awesome back flip off the rope swing into the water. He is such a dare devil and has been that way since he was tiny. I remember him being Mason's age and doing soaring leaps off of our couch. Anyways, it was an awesome trip.
This was our second port at Mazatlan. It was fun (of course). We took a tour of the city in an air conditioned van (the AC costs extra!) and then swam in this beautiful pool right on the beach. I chose not to go in the beach water because that particular spot was notorious for having lots of jellyfish in the water. I kept having horrible visions of Mason being stung by a jellyfish, so we stuck to the pool. We put his feet in the hot tub and he kept saying "hhhot, hhhot!" it was cute :)
Here are the pictures from the third port (Cabo San Lucas). It was awesome. It had to be 80 degrees at the most, the sun was shining, a breeze was blowing and the beach was breathtaking. We took a little water taxi to Playa Del Amor (Beach of Love to us gringos) and laid in the sun. Mason was on the boat with Camp Carnival (the cruise's daycare service). We only left him with them a few times for a few short hours but he hated it because he doesn't like to be apart from us ever. It was hard to leave him, but we needed a few hours to just enjoy ourselves without having to worry about him drowning or something. When I came back to pick him up, he said "MOM!" and ran over to me and then started waving to the babysitters and saying "Buh bye, buh bye". He is so cute :)
Well, dut duh duh duuuuuuh... here are the cruise pictures. I have four separate posts for the trip since I couldn't pick my favorites from the whole trip. As a result, there is this post (pictures on the boat) then there will be three more posts. One post for each port we visited. We had a blast and even though I'm glad to be home, I miss my family so much. It's really hard to be away from them. Someday we will all live close. And someday after that, we will all spend forever together and I won't have to be apart from them at all :) I hope there aren't too many pictures but I loved so many of them. By the way, there is a picture of Wynn holding a wine glass. That is NOT wine. It's apple juice (yes, my husband will be 8 years old forever and continue to drink apple juice). Just wanted to be clear on that one ;)
